Together a bunch of local artists (and a few blow-ins from Brisbane) along with THE WALLS and WILD GARDEN, treated the community to an afternoon of sights, sounds and arts permeating out of lockdown. Part exhibition, part screening, part rave, WILD WALLS featured a special welcome to country ceremony, animations, video art, sound, performance, a freestyle art wall and more.
15 Gold Coast artists working in performance, dance, music, visual art, screen and sound came together for a curated salon of work in development that were presented as part of a new series from Placemakers* GC – Behind The Golden Doors.
Art-Work Agency was incredible proud to host the third and final salon featuring four female creative practitioners; Daniele Constance, Laurie Oxenford, Natalie Popovski and Rebecca Ross.
Healthy Social is all about balancing fitness and lifestyle. They focus on strength, mobility and fitness for older adults, weekly group fitness classes and, of course, Friday cocktails. When Healthy Social approached us to create an indoor vinyl artwork for their space, we immediately knew it had to be energetic, enthusiastic and vibrant.
Artbox is a City of Gold Coast initiative that aims to deter graffiti vandalism by painting traffic signal boxes with bright, artistic designs, which also improves the visual façade and appeal of our streets. Every year local artists are invited to submit their creative ideas and artworks for a chance to be featured throughout the region. Original artworks by AW’s Emma Van Zaane and Laura Strange add new energy and vibrant sights to the streets of Mudgeeraba, Nerang and Robina, respectively.
Our Creative Director, Claudio Kirac, was recently featured in Issue 14 of Paradiso Magazine, a free creative and independently published bi-monthly magazine made locally for the Byron Shire and beyond.
