15 Gold Coast artists working in performance, dance, music, visual art, screen and sound came together for a curated salon of work in development that were presented as part of a new series from Placemakers* GC – Behind The Golden Doors.
Art-Work Agency was incredible proud to host the third and final salon featuring four female creative practitioners; Daniele Constance, Laurie Oxenford, Natalie Popovski and Rebecca Ross.
Artbox is a City of Gold Coast initiative that aims to deter graffiti vandalism by painting traffic signal boxes with bright, artistic designs, which also improves the visual façade and appeal of our streets. Every year local artists are invited to submit their creative ideas and artworks for a chance to be featured throughout the region. Original artworks by AW’s Emma Van Zaane and Laura Strange add new energy and vibrant sights to the streets of Mudgeeraba, Nerang and Robina, respectively.
Amidst the ongoing Climate Crisis devastating Australia, we can see that our land and community will take time and require help to heal from this tragedy. So, we're auctioning artworks from our crew of artists, designers and makers to help create a more sustainable future.
All proceeds from our endeavour will be donated to WWF Australia Toward 2 Billion Trees, an initiative to restore native habitat and fight deforestation.
