Art-Work Studios is excited to present new work from CALENDAR 2023: FUTURE DREAMS Judge’s Choice Award Winner Brad Healy.
Detached is an exploration of isolation and seclusion which celebrates the beauty of solitude in its most tangible form, allowing visitors to appreciate the transformative power of isolated and imaginative spaces.
The focus on realism grounds the artworks in somewhat recognisable scenes inviting visitors to connect with the familiar. Using a consistent softer colour palette throughout brings easiness and warmth to the isolated spaces.
Visitors are invited to explore the depths of their imagination and the beauty found in the familiar and not-so-familiar. Detached becomes a transformative journey urging contemplation of the profound connections between the surreal and the real in our perceptions of the world.

As a 3D artist, motion designer, and art director, Brad Healy has had the opportunity to collaborate with iconic brands such as Lenovo, Intel, and New Balance. His work has been showcased internationally and in local exhibitions, allowing him to share his passion for art with a wider audience.

About FUTURE DREAMS
Each year, Art-Work and Fast Proof Press join forces to experiment with the latest innovative possibilities available in the print industry. Taking form as a limited-edition calendar, the AW team creates an artwork for each month, which Fast Proof Press then print and apply stunning finishes to.
This year, we decided to invite contributions from our community, taking the lead from their responses to the theme of FUTURE DREAMS. Our shared future is always in a state of evolution and contemplation – to dream about what this looks like, feels like, smells like and sounds like is to devise our reality.
