Often described as a modern day renaissance man, Claudio’s career in creative direction, photography, art and design spans over 20 years.

Following a 15-year career with Billabong International as a designer, photographer and creative director, Claudio (CK as he is affectionately known) now leads Art-Work’s creative team, heading up the development of projects for small businesses through to enterprise and government clients.

Recognised for excellence amongst his peers, Claudio is often engaged in guest speaking and lecturing, with his most notable public speaking roles including flagship industry events such as Semi-Permanent, AgIdeas and The Design Conference. He has also conducted keynote speeches for the Australian Graphic Design Association, Design Institute of Australia, Adobe and Apple and educational institutions including Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art (Gold Coast and Brisbane), Billy Blue College, DesignWorks, Queensland Institute of Graphic Art and TAFE.

His work has been published in magazines such as Black+White, Artillery, Monster Children, Tokion, Stab, Dazed & Confused, YEN, Australian Creative and Movement. Claudio has self-published three books, with a selection of these now in the permanent collection of the National Library of Australia (Canberra) and the NYC State Library collection (NY,NY). His artworks reside in the collections of HOTA Home of the Arts, The National Library of Australia, the NYC State Library and Louis Vuitton Asia Pacific.

To Claudio, life is “one big art show”, with the beach as a constant backdrop. His love for surf and beach culture naturally infuses his work. He brings infectious positivity to every project, giving creative insights from a unique perspective to help set your brand apart from the pack.
