On July 27, Art-Work Studios hosted the first Edition of SOAP, the beginning of an initiative that organises casual catch-ups for creatives to connect and find a sense of community.
SOAP is the newest initiative on the Gold Coast carving out a space for creative people to connect and build the community they need to thrive. Created by Eddie Studio (Elke Gill and Drew Magnum), Laura Strange, CHAPTR (Ian Powell) and SELFSAME Agency (Charlotte Dance-Wilson).
Over 70 people turned up for Edition One at Art-Work Studios. Together, we participated in a live digital survey to determine what the future of SOAP might hold while enjoying incredible charcuterie from MEDA Deli and delicious beverages from Balter Brewing and Ink Gin. It was exhilarating to meet so many new faces and we look forward to seeing everyone at Edition Two.
