Celebrating 40 years of Fast Proof Press in 2019!
Throughout 2019 we immortalised Fast Proof Press' 40th birthday forever in paper and ink – is that evil or totally awesome?
We hope you enjoyed the celebration, and found the 2019 calendar experience a little daunting, but mostly delightful (40 is the new 30 anyway)!
This collaboration with our Fast Proof Press friends was formally recognised in the Queensland Print and Creativity Awards, where it was awarded Gold in the Calendar Category and progressed to national awards... The 36th annual National Print Awards to be awarded Gold in the Calendar Category.
Gold Coast-based print specialists Fast Proof Press (FPP) showcased their innovative print work in Parliament in late 2019, following the receipt of a Gold at the 36th Media Super National Print Awards.
“The award coincides with FPP’s 40th year in business, and is testament to the hard work of our staff and our company’s culture of innovation.”
Established in 1984, The Media Super National Print Awards are the premier print awards in Australia and recognise excellence with a Gold Medal at the Awards remaining the ultimate accolade the industry can bestow.
This year’s awards responded to the theme of ‘An Industry Revolution!’, a statement that the owners of family-run Fast Proof Press exercise in their everyday work, including their signature calendar, for which they were awarded.
The calendar is produced annually in collaboration with AW as their creative partner and showcases the latest and greatest in print techniques and has become a sought-after resource within the creative industry, both locally and state-wide.
According to the Queensland Print Industries Association of Australia CEO Andrew Macaulay, the print industry employs tens of thousands of people, making it one of the state’s largest manufacturing sectors.
Fast Proof Press and Art-Work showcased their winning entry at Print to Parliament, an exhibition that took place in Canberra in October, 2019. This prestigious exhibition provided a platform for the business to showcase the world-class products being produced on the Gold Coast, with politicians and policy makers attending the exhibition.
