Instrumental psych rockers Sun of Man presented their first and last show of 2019 to record their debut video release. This coincided with their long-awaited 4th studio release Sun of Man IV. With unmatched energy and undulating rhythms, their performance was a curated experience not to be missed.

We were lucky to hang out with the Sun of Man crew backstage before the show, to capture a few behind the scenes moments and watch these guys in their element. Their creative process and teamwork was incredible to witness, giving us the raw taste of their essence as a collective needed to really enjoy their performance.

Sun of Man were joined by special guests Martha Baartz (leading the brass accompaniment on tenor sax) and Ian Peres (Xavier Rudd, Matt Corby, Wolfmother) on soundscape and keys. Chris Ixion closed out the night.

Out of the live footage Art-Work Agency created a music video edit and polished live documentation of the Sun of Man show, aiming to provide digital viewers with a wholesome, immersive experience. Our in-house animator, Elke Gill, also developed the stage visuals animating a series of images, shapes and elements to add another layer of conceptual detail to the Sun of Man experience.
