Today we'd like to share with you a special sneak peek of the new Art-Work Agency/Fast Proof Press collaboration – BOUND.
Featuring film photography shot by Art-Work Agency from our travels around the world, BOUND celebrates the force of nature that binds us all together while exploring a variety of packaging, print and binding methods created by Fast Proof Press.
Four notebooks in a set, four seasons in a year, four unique binding methods. BOUND speaks to both the physical binding of the notebooks and the seasons that bind us all together, year in, year out.
The piece contains four notebooks designed to showcase a range of different binding solutions from burst bound through to thread stitched. The notebooks are finished with beautiful papers, complete with some sexy art spreads throughout.
The four covers feature analogue photographs titled Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring. Each image was shot on 35mm film during our travels – from Brisbane and the Gold Coast to New York and Italy.
As sure as time turns, the seasons will pass by us. They bind us together, bringing us certainty and a sense of hope. We are all bound through the seasons of life.
