Casuarina, a beautiful location situated on the coast of NSW, Australia, has been undergoing rapid change and development. Art-Work collaborated with Consolidated Properties to develop a brand for Beach.Life – their latest $14 million property development in Casuarina Beach.
In branding Beach.Life we took inspiration from nature and architecture. The brandmark and brand language developed reference the natural reserve that is Casuarina Beach and the modern, boutique beach houses that make up the Beach.Life development.
Targeting a market of young professionals, it was important for the Beach.Life brand to stand apart from typical boutique development projects, which often target an older demographic.
Art-Work achieved a contemporary brand to appeal to this market through the use of fresh colours, simple typography and abstract symbols representing the environment and architecture of the development.
"The brand was a success in communicating to the target market, with 50% of the properties sold within the first 12 weeks of launch."
We worked with Consolidated Properties to apply the brand to a catalogue, which also featured our photography work as an extension of the brand language, and various signage applications.
The simplicity and character of the brand is reflective of the philosophy behind Beach.Life – lowmaintenance , easy living – made possible by clever architectural design and a fantastic location. Our playful, no fuss approach to the brand language reflected this philosophy.
