City of Gold Coast engaged us to develop event branding for the inaugural 2970° – The Boiling Point. The event combined three days of thought and action with keynote speakers from art, science, technology, activism and sport backgrounds.
Our brief was to create a brand that was sophisticated, flexible and reflected the intent of the event. The outcome was a simple, clean and well received brand that was commended by event organisers, keynote speakers and attendees alike. The brand successfully positioned a City event as cutting edge, contemporary and highly desirable; something that is often found challenging by the City due to restrictions. Our role included branding, print design, placemaking and signage design, development of a video installation and event photography.
