The Lamb Shop concept is simple – fast food, done well. The Lamb Shop brings its patrons a modern spin on traditional souvlaki, inspired by the flavours of the restaurateur’s Greek childhood.
Our brief was to develop a brand for The Lamb Shop that paid homage to traditional butcheries and integrated the restaurant's unique selling point – its high quality, homemade recipes.
The client also wanted to avoid any cliched design elements often associated with Greek food and for us to design a brandmark that would integrate with the modern interiors seamlessly.
Our approach was to be led by simplicity. A typographic mark fit the brief and integrated with the interiors well.
By integrating kraft paper for printed collateral, a link back to traditional butcheries was created – while also creating a feeling of warmth and honesty.
On completion of the brandmark, AW rolled out the look and feel to a variety of collateral. We also undertook photography work and developed an easy-to-navigate responsive one page website. We continue to work with The Lamb Shop on an on-going basis.
